The shift

Traditional invoice tools were not built for wallet payments. OnchainInvoice is.

Stripe, Wave, and Coinbase Commerce each solve one part of the workflow. None of them give you fiat-priced invoices, direct wallet settlement, automatic reconciliation, and signed accounting records in one place.

The old way

PDF plus wallet plus spreadsheet hell.

  • xSend a normal invoice, then paste wallet addresses into emails and hope the client copies the right one.
  • xWatch explorers manually and guess which incoming transfer belongs to which invoice.
  • xRebuild fiat value later from screenshots, exchange charts, and whatever rate your accountant accepts.

OnchainInvoice

Invoice in dollars. Settle straight to your wallet.

  • vCreate the invoice in the currency you actually price in, then offer crypto payment options on a clean link.
  • vOn-chain monitoring matches payment to invoice and marks it paid automatically.
  • vSigned receipt includes transaction, timestamp, token amount, fiat value, and rate source.

How it works

Three screens between sent and settled.

OnchainInvoice keeps the invoice workflow recognizable for you and the payment flow simple for your client.

01

Build an invoice in the currency you actually price in.

Line items, tax, due dates, client details, and branding stay familiar. The crypto complexity stays behind the payment link.

  • Price in USD, EUR, GBP, or another display currency
  • Choose supported settlement tokens and networks
  • Send a polished payment page instead of wallet instructions
Invoice builder screen

02

Your client pays in 30 seconds from any wallet they already have.

They see the invoice total, token options, QR code, and wallet deep link. Funds move directly from their wallet to yours.

  • Solana Pay and EVM-friendly payment UX
  • Live token conversion before payment
  • No custody, no intermediary account, no payout delay
Crypto payment page screen

03

You walk away. The receipt walks itself in.

Monitoring sees the transaction, confirms the amount, updates the invoice, and generates a tamper-evident record for your books.

  • Automatic invoice reconciliation
  • Signed PDF receipt and structured proof
  • Email delivery and exportable accounting data

Features

The parts of crypto invoicing that used to be manual are now boring.

The product is designed around one job: turn a wallet payment into a professional invoice record without busywork.

Automatic payment detection

Edge Functions monitor supported chains and match incoming payments to the right invoice.

Direct wallet settlement

Your client pays a wallet you control. OnchainInvoice never holds funds or routes payouts.

Fiat-first invoices

Create invoices in familiar business currencies while accepting settlement in supported crypto tokens.

Signed receipt PDFs

Ed25519 signatures and SHA-256 hashes make records tamper-evident and easy to verify.

Email and reminders

Send invoices, deliver receipts automatically, and remind overdue clients without spreadsheet tracking.

Accounting exports

Export clean payment and receipt data for bookkeeping, reviews, and month-end reconciliation.

Audit-grade receipts

Your receipt should be a record, not a screenshot.

The signed receipt is the credibility layer. It shows what was paid, when it was paid, what it was worth, and why that value can be trusted.

01

Fiat value captured at the moment of payment

No reconstructing exchange rates after the fact. The fiat amount is captured when the transaction confirms.

02

Cryptographically signed

Every receipt carries an Ed25519 signature and SHA-256 hash. Tamper with one byte and verification fails.

03

Independently verifiable

The transaction is public, the signing key is published, and the proof can be checked outside the app.

04

Deterministic record

Given the receipt, an auditor can reproduce the transaction, token amount, rate, and fiat total.

Built for

Three kinds of businesses that already get paid in crypto and were tired of doing it wrong.

Freelancers

Designers, developers, and consultants billing internationally.

You bill clients across time zones. Wires are slow, FX spreads hurt, and follow-up is unpaid work. Send one USD-priced crypto invoice and give your bookkeeper a clean receipt.

For the freelancer who would rather invoice once and be paid by Tuesday.
Agencies

Small studios and dev shops with recurring global clients.

When you are running 8 to 20 invoices a month, card fees are not background noise. Keep the margin, send branded payment links, and export the trail at quarter-end.

For teams where 3% on cross-border billing is real operating money.
Crypto-native

DAOs, Web3 contractors, and on-chain operators.

Your treasury is on-chain and your contractors are global. You should not need a bank in the loop just to issue an invoice and document payment.

For teams whose operations already live wallet-to-wallet.

Pricing

Free to start. $12/mo when you outgrow it. Never a percentage of your revenue.

Compare that to Stripe, PayPal, or FX spreads. On a single $5,000 invoice, you have already paid for two years of Plus.

FAQ

The questions you would ask before signing up.

Yes, and most of them prefer them. Each receipt includes the on-chain transaction hash, timestamp, exact fiat value at the moment of payment, and rate source. It is signed and tamper-evident so your bookkeeper, CPA, or auditor can verify it independently.

No. They click your link, see a clean payment page, and either tap pay with wallet or scan a QR code. The page handles token selection and rate conversion automatically.

No. Funds go directly from your client wallet to a wallet you control. OnchainInvoice never touches the money. Revenue comes from the Plus subscription, not from your invoices.

We use a tolerance window to absorb network fees, rounding, and minor slippage. Within tolerance, the invoice auto-confirms. Outside tolerance, it is flagged for review so you stay in control.

The payment page recalculates the crypto amount at live rates when it loads, so your client pays the right fiat-equivalent amount. The receipt locks the rate at the exact second payment confirms.

Yes. Once crypto is in your wallet, you can off-ramp through Coinbase, Kraken, MoonPay, or another exchange. Or you can hold it as treasury. We do not make that decision for you.

Stop chasing wire transfers.
